Children & Youth
Collamer United Church and The First United Church of E. Syracuse have collaborated to form a “United Youth Group”! We’re a fun, energetic bunch of kids that get together at least one Sunday a month at church, plus we do activities outside the church that help us form a better relationship with God, and each other.
Our Youth Group gatherings on Sunday evenings include games, devotions, and food! Our outside activities include The Adventure Course, bowling, ice skating, holiday parties, movies, mini-golf, pool parties, camping, retreats, mission projects and so much more! Interested in finding out what a mystery dinner is? How about wanting to try out the Adventure Course and climbing 20 feet up or sitting in the “bird’s nest”? Team building is a skill that we promote and our activities are how we do it!
Jr. Youth Group is for kids in 5th-8th grade and Sr. Youth Group is for kids in 9th-12th grade. Come with a friend!

Upcoming events are:
February 3- First Friday’s event at Manlius Methodist Church-7pm-10pm. Car pooling leaves First United at 6:45.
February 3-5-Youth Retreat at Camp Casowasco. Grades 7-12.
February 12-Adventure Course-12-5pm. We will have pizza at church at 12noon, then leave for the Adventure Course at 12:45. The activities are 1pm-5pm. We will be back at First United by 5:15. The cost is $10pp and the deadline to confirm you are going is Friday February 10. We only have 4 spots left!
February 20-Ice skating at Clinton Square-The times are TBA. We will be going with Manlius and Fayetteville youth groups. Cost and car pooling details to follow.
March 2-Faith and Family night at the Syracuse Crunch
